I'm a designer based in Austin. I've done contract work at Huge and picked up a Graphis Gold along the way. Right now I'm at Studio Brownstone, an interior design firm, building websites and 3D models alongside the brand work. It's an unusual mix, and I like it that way.
A lot of what I make ends up printed. Books, packaging, identity systems, and the production side of that: trim and bleed, CMYK builds, picking stock, and working with printers and sign shops.
Research sits underneath it. Interviews, usability testing, digging through data until the actual problem becomes clear.
